Mary Ann Cowart, MD
• Doctor Cowart was born in Jackson, Mississippi
• Graduated from Canton High School with high honors
• She attended the Mississippi University for Women and matriculated with honors prior to attending the University of Mississippi Medical School in Jackson, Mississippi
• After finishing an Internal Medicine internship she stayed in Jackson and completed her residency in Radiology serving as chief resident in 1980
• She then pursued fellowship training in Computed Tomography and Ultrasound at the University of Florida
• Her special interests include Computed Tomography (CAT scan), Ultrasound and Breast Imaging
